CANCER
Common symptoms include unexplained weight loss, fatigue, pain, changes in the skin, and changes in the size or shape of the affected area.
Diagnosis of cancer typically begins with a physical examination and a review of the patient’s medical history. This may be followed by imaging tests, such as x-rays, CT scans, or MRI scans, to confirm the presence of a tumor. A biopsy may also be performed to remove a small sample of tissue for examination under a microscope.
